Sunday, November 27 join Rev. Heather Leffler for worship on Zoom and at Stone at 9:45 am and at Rockwood at 11:15 am.

Wear something red and join us for Communion as we begin the Advent season.

Advent Outreach – Through Advent you are invited to give gifts for our partners – Anishnabeg Outreach; Canadian Foodgrains Bank; East Wellington Community Services; Mission & Service; and the Rural Women’s Support Program to offer hope to people faced with hunger, food insecurity and more. AO is especially in need of cleaning and laundry supplies, garbage bags, toilet rolls, toiletries and larger size diapers, baby wipes, formula (Similac is our post popular) for their Spirit Bundles.

EWCS receives food and other items from many sources at Christmas so we did our collection for them earlier this year.


Sunday, November 27 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm start your Christmas shopping at Outreach Christmas Market at Rockwood. This is a fundraiser to provide grocery gift cards for the clients of EWCS Food Bank and The Rural Women’s Support Program.

A light lunch of sandwiches, cookies, tea and coffee will be available for a free-will offering.  If you prefer to have a take-out lunch, please bring your own container.

·         Shortbread cookies, peanut butter balls, gingerbread men, fruit cake, sweet and savory pecans, almond bark, fudge, chocolate dipped ginger cookies, nuts and bolts, chocolates and more

·         Gift wrapped assortment of jams and preserves

·         Dog treats, wild bird treats.

·         Christmas cards featuring photography by the creative folk of Rockwood Stone

Hand-crafted items

·         Christmas quiz crackers made from recyclable paper products

·         Children’s Christmas place mats

·         Christmas tree ornaments

·         Beautiful Outdoor fresh Christmas arrangements and wreaths

·         Christmas table decorations

We will also be selling other miscellaneous Christmas items, plus there’s a mini-Silent Auction of Festive gift bundles.

Sunday, November 27 at 7 pm begin the Christmas season with An Evening of Christmas Carols at Rockwood and on Zoom with our own Eramosa Ensemble.


Tuesday, November 29 at 7:30 pm join us on Zoom for Bible Study as we continue our study of 2 Timothy with chapter 3.


Thursday, December 1 at 10 am you are invited to join the ladies for Tea and Talk at Rockwood in Day Hall. Share in the lively conversations, laughter, and enjoy delicious refreshments!

Thursday, December 1 at 7 pm at Stone join the Rockwood Stone Choir Practice. Everyone who enjoys singing is welcome.

Saturday, December 10 from 8-11 am join us for the Country Breakfast at Rockwood UC sponsored by Stone Foodgrains Committee. The cost is $12/person and includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, hashbrown casserole, bacon, sausage, toast, jam, apple crisp, coffee/tea, juice. Proceeds to Canadian Foodgrains Bank.

Offering Praise is a time of reflection between the message and conversation time. We are looking for people to contribute song, dance, art, poetry or other creative expressions for Offering Praise in worship. If you are interested in sharing in this time or have more questions, please contact the church office at hleffler@rogers.com .

As we continue to be mindful of Covid-19 while worshipping in person, meeting in small groups and sharing meals with one another, please continue to self screen and remain home if you have symptoms. Masking and social distancing is left to your comfort. Please respect the needs and preferences of people around you.
